REMEMBER TO HAVE PURCHASED THIS LP IS NEARLY 25 YEARS AGO! A PRECIOUS LOST IN A RECORD STORE! NEVER BEEN RELEASED CD! BLUES IS A PROGRESSIVE HARD ROCK HITS WITH EVEN VERY GOOD! AMERICAN POISON RARE AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

First Friday" self-titled LP. Webster's Last Word, Stereo WLW S-2895, 1969/1970.

VERY RARE bluesy folk-rock-psych LP, from a group out of Notre Dame. Recorded at Golden Voice Sound Studios in Pekin, Illinois on September 27 and 28, 1969, where the Finchley Boys LP was also recorded. LP was produced by Chuck Perrin, who along with his wife Mary, also recorded for WLW. Only 500 copies pressed, released in January 1970.

First Friday were a group of students from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana.

Bob Ewan - vocals
John Prendergast - bass, saxophone, keyboards
Jim Stynes - drums
Andy Wallace - keyboards, vocals, guitar
Norm Zeller - guitar

They recorded one self-titled album at Golden Voice Sound Studios in Pekin, Illinois in September 1969 (released January 1970). The album is now very rare, with only 500 copies pressed.

Parabens ao Venenos, pois aceitei o desafio de procurar informações desta banda, mas toda a informação que existe na net é referente a este blog, por tanto me parece que o Brasil esta bem representado em postar raridades como essa.
