Somewhat typical Brit-pop with mild psych influences and good period flavor. Some cuts sound distinctly like a stripped down version of early Yes. No, it probably won't bowl you over, but it is certainly a very respectable album, well worthy of investigation by anyone interested in late 60's mat'l, not just Yes/Howe fanatics. There is some pretty decent songwriting here, with the almost always exceptional guitar work of Steve Howe. I think it's definitely on par with Tomorrow's only album (maybe a tad weaker), but is certainly of higher quality than it is given credit for on NET (it's very different from Yes).
